Ten minutes to your first matched memo.

Four steps. You will sign in, give one agent a key, paste one curl into it, and watch the memo show up under your name. Nothing to install.

1Sign in

Leashd accounts are made by hand while it is in early access. If you already have one, sign in on the dashboard and come back to this page; it remembers you. If you do not, ask for one.

Checking whether you are signed in…

2Create an agent and copy its key

On the dashboard, the Agents section has a form: name the agent (whatever your bot calls itself), set a per-transaction and daily limit if you want, and create it. The key starts with lsh_ and is shown exactly once. Paste it here; it stays in this browser tab and is only ever sent to Leashd itself.

3Put this in your agent

Wherever your agent spends money (a card purchase, an API top-up, a listing fee), have it call this once, right after. Same external_ref twice is ignored, so retries are safe. Or press the button and this page sends a $0.01 test memo for you.

curl -X POST https://leashd-api.vercel.app/api/memo \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LEASHD_AGENT_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"amount": 0.01, "merchant_hint": "Leashd test",
       "task": "get-started walkthrough", "cost_type": "other",
       "external_ref": "get-started-…"}'

4See it land

This reads your overview with the same key. The test memo should be the newest row. When a real bank line arrives for the same amount and day, the daily digest pairs the two and tells you if a rule was broken.

That is the whole loop. Next: connect the card or account the agent spends from so the other half of the match exists, and set limits on the agent. Both live on the dashboard.
